Growing up in Texas, Timothy was saved by the Lord at a young age in a Christian home shaped by multiple generations of faithful Baptists. His love for sound theology and reformed soteriology flourished at Texas Tech University where he met his lovely wife, Robin. After completing his PhD, Timothy and his family moved to Charleston for Timothy to teach at The Citadel, where he serves as an Associate Professor of Civil Engineering. Timothy’s passion is to help students understand the beautiful ways in which God has made the world.
In his free time, Timothy runs a YouTube channel about disc golf and the Bible, serves on the board of HOUSE Theatre, engages families and children with the gospel through their local homeschool co-op, and watches Star Trek reruns. Timothy regularly serves Holy City Church as a Sunday School teacher and music leader. Timothy and Robin have 3 children and live on James Island.
