Worship Gathering

While all of life is an act of worship for the Christian (Rom 12:1–2), the Lord commands Christians to gather together to worship together as the local church (Heb 10:24–25). Holy City Church’s primary expression of worship is our Sunday corporate gathering where members gather together under the preaching of God’s Word and prayer.

Holy City Church’s aim is for families to worship together because the preaching of God’s Word is for the entire household (Eph 5:22–6:4). Holy City does offer nursery care during our prayer and corporate worship gatherings on Sundays for children aged 4 years and under.

While there is no children’s class available for older children during our Sunday worship service, there is a children’s discipleship class (ages 5–10 years) and a youth discipleship class (ages 11–18) that meet during our corporate prayer gathering at 9:15 AM.

Outside the Lord’s Day, Holy City Church also offers a Wednesday night discipleship class to provide more opportunities for members and visiting saints to be equipped for the work of ministry (Eph 4:11–13).
